Trying something new can feel exciting, but it's also completely normal to have questions.
Many of my clients tell me they spent days, or even weeks, wondering whether to book their first appointment. They were curious about frequency therapy but weren't sure what to expect.
Will it feel strange?
Do I need to prepare?
Will I understand the results?
What actually happens during a session?
If you've been asking yourself similar questions, you're not alone.
My goal is to make your experience feel relaxed, supportive and informative from the moment you walk through the door. Helping you to better understand your wellbeing, explore biofeedback technology, or simply take some time to reconnect with yourself, your first session is designed around you.

Before Your Appointment
There is no special preparation required.
I simply recommend arriving well hydrated, wearing comfortable clothing and coming with an open mind. It can also be helpful to think about what you'd like to gain from the session.
Perhaps you've been feeling tired, overwhelmed or disconnected from your usual self.
Maybe you're experiencing ongoing stress, poor sleep, digestive discomfort or simply want a better understanding of your overall wellbeing.
Whatever has brought you here, we'll start with a conversation.
It Starts With Listening
Before any technology is used, I'll take the time to get to know you.
This is one of the most important parts of the appointment.
We'll talk about your current concerns, your lifestyle, daily stressors, sleep, energy levels, nutrition, health history and any wellness goals you may have.
There are no right or wrong answers.
This conversation helps me understand your unique circumstances so I can personalise your session rather than taking a one size fits all approach.
I believe every person is different, and every wellness journey is unique.

Your Biofeedback Assessment
Once we've discussed your health history and goals, I'll guide you through your personalised biofeedback assessment.
The SCIO biofeedback system is designed to measure and analyse patterns within the body's responses. It provides live insights into areas that may be experiencing stress or imbalance, creating a broader picture of your overall wellbeing.
It's important to understand what biofeedback is, and what it isn't.
Biofeedback is not a medical diagnostic tool. It does not diagnose diseases, replace blood tests or substitute for medical advice.
Instead, it offers another perspective that may help identify areas where lifestyle, nutrition, stress management or other supportive wellness practices could be beneficial.
Many clients tell me this is one of the most fascinating parts of the session because it encourages them to view their health from a more holistic perspective and connects many dots for them.
What Does a Frequency Therapy Session Feel Like?
One of the questions I'm asked most often is:
"Will I feel anything?"
Everyone's experience is different.
Many people describe feeling deeply relaxed during their session. Others simply appreciate having uninterrupted time to slow down and focus on themselves. Some clients notice they feel calmer afterwards, while others leave with a greater sense of clarity or awareness about their health. There is no "correct" experience.
My aim is to provide a gentle, non-invasive session that supports your wellbeing while encouraging your body's natural ability to maintain balance.

Creating Your Personalised Health Plan
No two clients leave with exactly the same recommendations. Rather than overwhelming you with technical information, I'll explain everything in clear, easy to understand language.
We'll discuss the patterns that emerged during the assessment and explore how they may relate to your lifestyle, stress levels and wellness goals.
You'll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions throughout the session. I believe understanding your body is empowering, and I want you to leave feeling informed, confident and supported.
Depending on your situation, your plan may include supportive recommendations around:
Stress management
Sleep habits
Nutrition, supplements and hydration
Lifestyle changes
Frequency therapy sessions
General wellbeing practices
Self-care strategies
Where appropriate, I'll also encourage you to continue working alongside your GP or other healthcare professionals, particularly if medical assessment or treatment is needed.
I believe holistic wellness works best when it complements conventional healthcare, rather than replacing it.
What Happens After the Session?
Some people book a single appointment because they're curious to learn more about themselves.
Others choose ongoing sessions as part of their broader wellness journey.
There is absolutely no pressure.
My focus is on helping you better understand your body, providing meaningful insights and practical guidance that you can apply in your everyday life. If you decide to continue, we'll monitor your progress over time and adjust your sessions and recommendations as your needs evolve.
Wellness isn't about perfection. It's about making informed choices and supporting your body in a way that feels sustainable for you.
A Safe Space to Explore Your Wellbeing
I understand that reaching out for support is a personal decision.
And my role isn't to promise quick fixes or miracle cures. It's to help you gain a deeper understanding of your body through personalised biofeedback insights, education and holistic support that complements healthy lifestyle choices and appropriate medical care.
Every person who walks through my door has their own story, challenges and goals. That's why every session is tailored to the individual, not just the symptoms.
Your first appointment is more than just a wellness session. It's an opportunity to pause, reconnect with yourself, and begin understanding what your body may have been trying to tell you all along.
I look forward to supporting you on your wellness journey.
